The Import Skills functionality allows for the automatic scanning of CVs for keywords, from your skills database that you have maintained in PALUSTRIS, using Microsoft Word. Any occurrences of the keywords in the CVs will be highlighted in Microsoft Word and the Reviewing functionality within Word allows for user controlled acceptance or rejection of the highlighted keywords/skills. The Candidate’s record in PALUSTRIS will then be automatically populated with the reviewed skills.

Benefits

As the matching is based upon the skills database that you have maintained, which is therefore pertinent to your business operation, only relevant information is recorded against the Candidate record. The fact that the accepted skills are automatically recorded means that no information is missed and that the process takes place in a timely manner. Further skills can be added manually if required.
