This facility within PALUSTRIS allows you to Drag and Drop electronic copies of CVs, from wherever they are stored on your PC/server, straight onto the system, an operation which will then automatically invoke the Add Candidate Wizard. The contents of the CV will then be available along with the Wizard within PALUSTRIS to facilitate the creation of the Candidate Record.

Benefits

As CVs can be Dragged and Dropped easily from wherever they are stored, this means that you do not have to create Candidate Records for all your received CVs but only those of interest at a particular point in time – the rest can remain ‘Unregistered’ until you decide that a Candidate may be appropriate for a job. This allows you to maintain folders of unregistered CVs which can be searched as required and relevant Candidates registered, rather than having to register as Candidates all those who send you CVs. Time is not wasted registering unsuitable Candidates, but when you do want to register a Candidate, the Drag and Drop process provides a simple and efficient mechanism for this.
