PALUSTRIS is compatible with the following platforms:

-    Windows 98 SE, ME, NT 4, 2000 and XP.  (Note that full text searching requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP on whatever system is serving the database.)

-    Office 97, 2000, XP and 2003.

It utilises Microsoft’s powerful SQL Server database engine for all installations from a single desk top to a full Client / Server solution. All PALUSTRIS installations use the same software making it scaleable from a single desk top to a full Client server solution without any software changes.
