Radial Searching

The Radial Searching module provides additional functionality in all searching within Palustris. Candidates can be searched for based upon the distance between their home address and a specified Post Code or Vacancy location and/or on Radial Preferences entered on their record. For example, a Candidate can state that they wish to work within 20 miles from TW20 9NT. Additionally, suitable Vacancies for a Candidate can be searched for based on both Radial Preferences and/or the distance between the Vacancy and the Candidate’s home address. This functionality works in conjunction with the existing comprehensive search criteria available in Palustris as standard.

Benefits

The Radial Searching module provides the flexibility to enhance Candidate/Vacancy searching to encompass the specific requirements of distance searching. You can very quickly and easily, for example, find all Candidates within a 20 mile radius of a given Vacancy and therefore produce a very targeted list of relevant applicants to work with, In addition, it takes into account a Candidate’s specific preferences as to where they would like to work and thus ensures that time is not wasted working on unsuitable Candidates.
