PALUSTRIS offers full text searching of documents on your PC/server using Microsoft’s Indexing Service. This means that documents can be searched using fuzzy queries using AND, OR, NOT, NEAR, INFLECTION etc. A user defined search screen allows you to enter new and re-use existing queries which are directed at folders of your choice e.g. CV folders or Contract folders etc. Results are ranked and presented quickly with the option to preview the CVs in a separate pane to allow you to view their contents easily as you scroll through the list of results.

Benefits

This allows you to maintain folders of unregistered CVs which can be searched as required and relevant Candidates registered, rather than having to register as Candidates all those who send you CVs. If a document is already associated in PALUSTRIS (e.g. a CV is attached to a Candidate) then the association is also displayed and can be navigated to directly with a single click.
As you can enter any text/skill/attribute to search upon, this allows you to look for Candidates who match some very specific requirement that a Client may have, such as a Norwegian speaking sales person specialising in truck rental!
